Defining knowledge goals

The important goal in management..

  • Give some direction to the company’s essential processes

o   Core element in strategic planning : such as focusing on a strategic business

o   Provides the basis for implementation and monitoring : such as mobilization, utilization, and control of resources and project operation.

o   General direction in which its activities develop

  • Influencing the behavior of employees
  • Knowledge goal is rarely formulated

o   Knowledge aspect is still disregarded when goals are ormulated, wether at eht normative, strategic or operational level

  • The absence of knowledge of strategic goals  : usually concerned with markets and competition.
